Our stay at Pohutukawa Coast Bnb was an excellent value for money. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had a lovely view of the tropical back garden. The location, right across from the beach, gave us a feeling of privacy and tranquility away from the busy city. The hosts, Peter and Janet, were friendly, helpful, and made us feel at home. Their local knowledge added to our enjoyment of the trip.

Great ocean view and beach access, delicious breakfast with fresh ingredients. Our romantic escape from the city was amazing. The ocean view from our room was stunning and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach for a morning walk. The breakfast was a highlight of our stay, with fresh and delicious ingredients that were expertly prepared. We also appreciated the use of the paddle boards and kayaks that were available for us to use.

Noisy hot tub and slightly far from town. The hot tub located near our room was a bit noisy which detracted a bit from the peaceful atmosphere.

This hotel exceeded all expectations. I was immediately greeted with a warm welcome and great hospitality. The attention to detail was spot on, from the cute little chocolate gift upon arrival to the fluffy towels provided. The location couldn't have been better, with a beautiful tropical garden in the back and a stunning sea view at the front. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with a nice big bed and a bathroom that offered a nice view. Breakfast on the deck was a highlight, with breathtaking views of the sea and delicious homemade smoked salmon. It was definitely value for money.

Spent my Christmas here and it was a wonderful stay. The location was great, just steps away from the beach and they offered kayaks and bikes to explore the area. The breakfast was delicious and served with a stunning view. The hosts were friendly and helpful, giving us our privacy but also making sure we had everything we needed. The room was comfy and had everything we needed, including a hot tub to relax. It was a great value for the money.

The hot tub was a bit outdated and needed some maintenance, with worn-out seating pads and debris floating around. It was located outside under the trees, so there were some leaves and bugs in the water.

The location of this place is pretty great, just opposite a beautiful beach. It's nice to be so close to the sea and have a lovely beach nearby. The breakfast spread is also pretty impressive and tasty. The sitting area on the front veranda provides a nice view of the surroundings.

While the location is great, the room and bathroom could use some improvement. The room is not soundproof and the noise from other guests and traffic from the nearby busy road could be heard all night.

We had an amazing stay at a charming B&B with friendly and knowledgeable hosts. Peter and Janet made us feel welcome and gave us great suggestions for things to do in the area. The breakfast served on the balcony had a wide variety of delicious options, and the view of the ocean was absolutely breathtaking. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the amenities like the washing machine and spa made our stay even more enjoyable. We would have loved to stay longer to fully enjoy the hospitality and beauty of this place.

The breakfast provided at this Bnb was beyond my expectations. They had a great selection of breads, hot drinks, fruits, and even hams and salmon. The variety and freshness of the food made our mornings enjoyable. the location of the Bnb was ideal, right in front of the ocean. Sitting on the deck, feeling the breeze and enjoying breakfast with the beautiful view was a highlight of our stay. We also liked the fact that the Bnb was close to different bays, making it convenient for exploring the area.

It was always hot in the afternoon and evening, and we had to wait until it cooled down around 11pm to be able to sleep comfortably. This affected our overall experience as we couldn't rest properly.
